My initial plan was to model just old style 'rubber' or 'cushion'
room from mental asylum. Then I added small corridor and another
room... followed by metal bars sliding door. Then, to connect all
that together I created some more corridors. At the end, I had
much bigger part of architecture than I initially planned
(but less is more and bigger is better).

Introducing the biggest building project I have ever taken on: the luxury home!

The tyres on these vehicles deform as they rotate, with the proper "flat-spot" at the base so the vehicle appears to have some weight, and you can also pose any or all of the tyres so they run flat as if punctured. Animators need not despair as this is done with deformers not morphs, so the tyres will deform as they rotate in your animations; the MUV was the first Poser vehicle to have this feature.

In addition the suspension is fully poseable so you can properly show the vehicles on uneven surfaces. The steering has proper Ackerman steering geometry and works from a single dial in the body. Unused dials have been hidden and locked to prevent accidents when posing and most of the dials are grouped and located in a few places (mainly the body) to make posing easier. Even the icons are carefully designed so everything is easy to find.

There are over eighty props and smart-props, including full cargo loads for the flatbed trucks, vehicle-mounted tool and spare parts boxes, spare wheels and plenty of scene filler cargo boxes and other containers with finely detailed textures. There are conforming figures to provide the crane for the Flatbed Truck, defensive laser turrets to shoot down those incoming RPGs, and for the Tanker a fully poseable conforming hose with Easy-Pose dials and supplied poses to make it easier to use. The ERC dials and Easy-Pose dials in this product can also have poses saved for them that work properly! (See ReadMe for details). The loads for the Flatbed trucks can load multiple props with a single click, so you can load up to forty cargo props onto a truck in one simple action. There is also a proper tie-down kit to anchor the MUV inside a cargo ship or DropShip, and a poseable version of this that can be used on other vehicles in your collection.

Many Poses are provided for adding commonly used figures to your MUV; M3, M4, V3 and V4 plus the Freak (original) are catered for as well as the conforming hose for the tanker truck. Poses are provided to allow the figures to hold the hose, so you can show scenes of refuelling or distributing water with a lot less work. MAT poses also allow you to change the hazard signs on the tanker so it can be shown carrying a wide range of cargoes from aircraft fuel to water, with lubricating oil, liquid Oxygen or Hydrogen and others available. The signs display the proper UNSIN (UN Substance Identification Number) codes and hazard symbols.

A note about DAZ Studio: Studio won't run at all on my computer so I am unable to support it. However some of my beta test team did test this product in DAZ Studio and it does work. The materials come out too shiny and need adjustment, and on some installations of DAZ Studio the tyre deformers don't work properly. The bug in DAZ Studio 3 that made this model "explode" has been fixed by DAZ after they were supplied with a copy of the model, so if you get this problem you need to update your copy of the software.

 

The FireGhost comes with both two seat and single seat versions for training, strike or fighter use, and has ERC-controlled folding landing gear and opening weapons bays. Masses of options are provided, from bomb and missile loads to a crew boarding ladder, chocks for the wheels, with lots of MAT poses to change the paint schemes on the plane. More MAT poses can change the cockpit displays for close-ups, and the cockpit screens are all on one texture map so it is easier to make your own screen displays for the FireGhost if you need to do so. A further pair of MAT poses can change the cockpit canopy between ray-traced reflections for ultimate realism or reflection-mapping for faster rendering.

Both the single seat and the two seat versions of the FireGhost come in three versions with varying detail levels, making six versions in all. Showing a mass dogfight? Load the lowest detail version (still very detailed) which has no landing gear, saving memory. Other versions allow the landing gear to be lowered and raised, the nose-wheel to be steered or the cockpit canopy to be ejected along with the ejector seats. You can even open service doors to show the plane being maintained or repaired.

Like a real stealth plane the FireGhost keeps its weapons inside weapon bays to avoid detection, and there are a plenty of options for every kind of mission, from air-to-air missile loads to masses of anti-tank rockets or bombs, cruise missiles or HARM missiles. Each weapons load is a set of smart props loaded into the FireGhost with one click, saving time.

The plane comes with a wide range of paint schemes too, all NATO countries or allies of NATO. There four USAF paint jobs, four US Marine Corps and four Kudai (the Kudai are a fictional alien race allied with Earth). There are also Australian, Canadian, German, Japanese, New Zealand, Norwegian, Polish, Swedish and two UK RAF paint schemes. Note that due to space restrictions not all of these are shown. If you need to put your own insignia on the plane you can download separate free textures that have full detail but no badges or text, allowing you to customise as much as you need (see ReadMe for details). There are also some high-quality texture additions available for free download, see the ReadMe file for those too.

NOTE: DAZ Studio won't run on my current computer so I cannot yet support Studio. This product works in DAZ Studio but needs manual adjustment to materials to reduce the shine. If the model loads in an exploded form then you need to update your software, as DAZ have fixed the bug in Studio 3 that caused this problem with some models. I will provide proper DAZ Studio support in my products when I can afford a new computer that will run Studio.

 

 

    >This pack contains 67 models (4 rooms and 38 unique decoration objects plus LOD stages) to fill the rooms. Door frames are needed to connect the corridors and closed doors to close an opening. Additional textures for normal, height, spec and opacity maps are included (up to 1024). All corridors and high detail models contain a second uv-set for lightmapping. Lower detail LOD-stages and the sample map do not.
