Desktop Earth is a program that automatically updates the desktop wallpaper with a satellite image of earth with an accurate representation of the Earth seen from space at that precise moment. You can customize the time zone and choose different images. The program runs in the system tray and automatically updates the image based on the selected program (one minute or one hour). Desktop Earth may appear as a desktop background or as an active desktop.
