Instructor: Slim Ghariani

Slim Ghariani has 12 years of experience creating visual effects in the video game industry. For the past 5 years he has been working for Blizzard Entertainment as a Senior Visual Effect Artist, using his extensive experience creating high-end real-time effects. His career has also covered creating and maintaining effects pipelines. Slim was part of the Paris Master Classes 2009 and Shanghai Master Classes 2011 where he taught effects artists his advanced techniques to create compelling and exciting animations. Slim is also a visual effects instructor at the Gnomon School of Visual Effects where he's teaching FumeFX and RenderMan. His credits include World of Warcraft: Cataclysm and World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King.

Note: The main project will be a large scale "Magical Effect" shot. Through execution of the main project, supplemental examples will illustrate the principals used including stylized fluid simulations and ultra-stylized structure destruction.
