The French Chef was a cooking series unlike anything yet seen on (early) TV. Warm and exuberant, Julia was a natural television star -- whether scooping up a spilled potato pancake or coasing a reluctant souffle, Julia was not afraid of making mistakes. This set of files is from Disc 1, with 6 episodes, originally 4x3 Full Screen television format, some in Black & White and some in Colour. Includes a PDF of The French Chef recipes. My personal review: a highly enjoyable and unpretentious rendering of classical French cookery, the original gourmet. Surprisingly easy and quite funny!
